Benedict's Washington Finished 5th At NCAA Championship, Named All-American - Benedict College Athletics EMPORIA, Kansas – Benedict College senior Zack Washington earned his third All-American award of his career, finishing fifth on Thursday at the 2006 NCAA Division II Outdoor Men's and Women's Track & Field Championship at Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas.

Benedict College Athletics honored its student-athletes at the annual Athletic Awards Luncheon, recognizing their hard work, dedication, leadership, and academic success.

The department recognized 24 student-athletes with perfect 4.0 GPAs and over 170 Tigers with GPAs above 3.0, proving that success at Benedict extends far beyond competition. Coaches, teams, and individual athletes across every sport were also recognized for their outstanding seasons and contributions to the college.
