High School Track and Field Awards night. Time to celebrate our AWESOME track athletes!
Missing many team members due to vacations, work, and off to military boot camp.

🎉 State Track Meet - Day 2🎉

We had an outstanding day.
*Girls 4x800 ran their best race of the season! 10:50.01 Every team member had a fantastic time. The team placed 12th.
*Trace Baxter had a whale of a day! He set a new school record! 45.46m (149'2") He placed12th.
*Luke ran a very good 800m. He place 16th. Great for someone who nearly died of a ruptured spleen and missed the first half of the season.

****NEW SCHOOL RECORD****
Trace Baxter now holds the school record in the Javelin.
Shaun Ballard had the record with 44.68m (146'7") set in 2021.
The new record is 45.46 (149'2")

No one made it to the award stand but it was still a GREAT day to be an Owl!
*Boys 4x800 - 13th (Masen, William, Isaiah, Luke)
*Kenzie - 100m hurdles - 16th
*Maddie - javelin - 14th
*Girls 4x400 - 15th (Azela, Kenzie, Birdy, Kate-Lynne)

Had a great send-off. Parades at the high school, middle school and elementary.
