Spokane Owls Track & Field/Cross Country

Looking at XC Rankings early in the season after 2 meets. Spokane boys team is ranked 7th in the State. Ahead of us are 3 schools from our District, so we are only ranked 4th in districts. Top 4 at our district meet go to State. So obviously we are in the Best district in the state.
Luke Faulkner ranked 8th in State and 4th at districts.
Matthew Blake is ranked 26th and Masen Gainer 30, both at districts. Top 30 individuals at districts go to State.
All this tells us, is we Must continue to get Better!!!

JV boys performed well today at the SWCCCA Richard Clark Invitational Cross Country Meet.
212 boys from all classes ran today.
In Class 2 they placed 2nd.

Middle School Girls had their first meet of the season at the SWCCCA Richard Clark Invitational Cross Country Meet. They were awesome! They were #1 in Class 2 schools.
300 runners, 60 schools (of all classes)

MS Boys at the SWCCCA Richard Clark Invitational Cross Country Meet. Their first meet of the season. All did a GREAT job!
430 MS boys ran in the race.
They were 24th out of all schools (all sizes) and 3rd in Class 2.

Varsity Boys at the SWCCCA Richard Clark Invitational Cross Country Meet. 78 high school were competing -- 546 athletes in the varsity race..
Our boys took 5th place in Class 2. (Behind the top 4 teams that placed at State last season)

Varsity Girls at SWCCCA Richard Clark Invitational Cross Country Meet. Largest meet of the season. All classes of schools. 78 teams -- 386 girls competed. HOT DAY!

Great 1st meet for the Owls!
17 schools. Luke took 1st place. Boys Varsity team won 1st. Boys JV team won 1st. ALL boys AND girls medaled!
