This site posts excellent educational graphics about the spine. I hope the more my clients understand and visualize their back issues, the more they can protect their back from further pain and learn exercises that will be appropriate for their needs.

Every few months or so, I receive a free surprise item from a company that would like me to sell their products to my clients. It's usually something like a supplement or tea. Last week I may have received my most thoughtful - but unusual! But I don't know if I can "stomach it". Beef organ supplements and creatine bites with storage jars. I'll have to look into this because I'm curious. Anyone want to try it?

Yes I agree…. https://www.facebook.com/share/19eWXkNeiE/?mibextid=wwXIfr
In the health and fitness industry, we often become obsessed with the idea of correct movement. But movement isn’t inherently correct or incorrect, it’s only ever optimal within a specific context.
That context includes factors such as intensity, volume, load, joint angles, medical history, and individual anatomy.
All these elements determine whether a movement is appropriate, effective, or needs adjusting for the person in front of you.
So, when working with clients, rather than asking, “Is this movement correct?” or “Is this functional?” instead ask, “Is this movement serving this individual within their current context?”
If it’s not, you can change the movement or change the context.
Movement is medicine

Oh how I love this!! I do have a very faithful 88 year old client who sees me twice a week. He has strength many younger people would envy.
