🚨NEW CLASS ALERT FOR FALL 2026 / SPRING 2027: Rooted in the rich traditions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, this style blends precision, strength, musicality, and performance flair. Majorette dance is known for its bold movements, sharp technique, rhythmic footwork, and confident stage presence often seen lighting up football fields, parades, and major performances.

This class will focus on:
• Strong, clean technique and sharp ex*****on
• High-energy choreography and musicality
• Performance confidence and stage presence
• Team unity and synchronized movement

May Calendar is HERE!! We’re officially in the countdown to recital and all the exciting end-of-season moments! From final rehearsals to finishing strong in class, this is where all the hard work comes together.

What a STAND OUT weekend we had at ID Dance Competition!! We were blown away by how hard our dancers worked and the results showed! Several 1st Overall and Top 3 / Top 5 placements, 4 Highest Scoring Numbers, Several ID Icon Awards, 4 Title Winners, 2 Improv Winners, 5 Choreography Awards, Tons of Special Awards including Trendsetter Awards and Artistry Awards. 😩🙌🏾🖤🩷 We are SO OROUD of our kiddos. Next up… StarQuest Nationals.

We are looking for the next generation of rhythm makers to join MJDA’s Award-Winning Competitive Tap Company!

Tap Co is where passion meets precision. Designed for dedicated tappers to elevate their tap training. Take on an opportunity to sharpen skills, elevate performance quality, and join a legacy of excellence!

Auditions will be held June 13th, 8am-9am at Mrs. Jenkins Dance Academy.
For Ages 6+, previous tap experience is required.
(We encourage NEW tappers can register for Summer and Fall tap classes MJDAstudio.com)
