Is it a fool’s errand to try to help people enjoy the process of losing body fat and building muscle through proper diet and resistance training?
Or is there hope for everyone?
I personally think there’s hope, which is why I love what I do.
Every person I work with has a unique perspective on food and exercise. Some people love it by nature, but more people see it as a “necessary evil.”
But the trend I’m seeing more often with my clients is that those who learn to love the process get the best results.

Are you the person that wrecks your diet on the weekends?
I don’t blame you.
I used to write posts like this full of internal judgment because I just couldn’t understand why people couldn’t connect the dots between their goals and their behaviors. Fast forward a few years, and I’m hopefully a bit more mature. Now I realize that food and drink are things plenty of people use to help them relax due to the stresses of life.
In other words, Friday night is a chance to destress with a few slices of pizza, a beer or two (or six), and your favorite dessert. I get it. I love all of those things too 🍕
If that’s you, just know that I see you and I sympathize with you.
Although I’m by no means perfect, I want to try to set the example tonight by showing you this salad I’m having for dinner.
