One of my favorite traditions on this day is listening to each person say what they are most thankful for… I’ll start:
Being able to witness firsthand God’s mercy, grace and His ability to answer silent prayers right in front of my eyes has literally left me in awe.
Thanksgiving in our home is a day to come together over our favorites with our favorites and celebrate ALL the things we have that clearly we could not have gained on our own. What are you most thankful for?

I will forever cherish mornings like this. Their snuggles before sunrise get me every….single….time.
This “Slow Season” for me has opened my eyes in ways I wasn’t even aware of. I’ve been forever changed by simply being removed, repositioned and redirected.
With eyes full of tears this morning I release the need to explain or defend my slow season and simply wish others could experience the undeserving beauty of God’s purest gifts. Sure children are a gift but a season of un-rushed living is worth far more than I could have ever imagined.
Closing out August it feels good to name my season.

When you are ROOTED in what matters…. the Holy Spirit sends messages, confirmations, convictions and moments of praise constantly!!!!!
My family and I have been moving at warped speed lately and literally trying to catch our breath. Slowly but surely I’m forcing myself how to ease back into “slowness” and clearly this is why. When I invest in even tea time my day is blessed! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Slow down today even if it’s just to sip your tea!
❤️My fellow nursing mama’s here’s a tip: pop a bag of that Mother’s Milk tea in there with any of your fav (safe) herbal teas and Enjoy!!

There is never a dull moment in this world. I rejected hustle and grind culture long ago…. But the need to “show up” daily is still there. EVERY SINGLE DAY I take a moment of stillness, breathe in through my nose out through my mouth and Thank God for simply being and allowing me to be here. This small yet powerful daily praise brings so much peace to my soul! Give it a try to start of your day and week!

Check your roots AND the roots of those pouring into you. A symptom of Healing and finding your identity is peace.

One thing I learned over the “Covid Slowdown” was to see the world more through their eyes. As adults we carry all the heaviness, fears, knowledge of brokenness, etc bottled up inside of us YET we wonder why mental health is the #1 trending topic! The heaviness casts a film over our eyes that literally alters how we see EVERYTHING. But these babies….these babies have something we don’t and that’s hope! They have an innocent trust that I find absolutely beautiful. I stood back and took this picture thinking how a fellow Mama and woman who’s job is based on knowing ALL the darkness of the world could cast aside a few moments and share in that innocent trust and hope that everything is going to be alright…casting our eyes on goodness to come.
I don’t care if it’s just for 10 seconds, let yourself see the world through their eyes just for a moment! You won’t regret it! Life lessons served straight up from my 10 and 6 year old!
