🚴‍♂️ Saturday Morning Group Ride with Muletown Bikes! ☕✨

Start your weekend off right on two wheels! Join us tomorrow, Saturday morning, for a fun 22-mile route around Columbia. We'll be rolling at an average pace of around 14–15 mph, and everyone is welcome to come out and ride.

We roll out promptly from the front of the shop at 7:30 AM, so please aim to arrive by 7:00 AM to get ready and catch the roll-call. It’s looking a little brisk out there, so be sure to layer up with some cooler-weather gear, and don’t forget your helmet, lights, and water bottles.

Best part? When we finish, warm up inside the shop with complimentary hot cocoa and fresh coffee for all riders!

📍 Meet Up: Muletown Bikes (11 Public Square, Columbia, TN)
⏰ Meet Time: 7:00 AM | Roll Out: 7:30 AM
📏 Route: 22 miles (~14–15 mph average)

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our barbecue this past Saturday! We had an absolute blast celebrating the season wrap-up of our Friday Night Bike Rides at the Aquatic Center in downtown Columbia. Sharing good food, laughs, and stories with all of you was the perfect way to wrap up such an incredible run of rides.

This season would not have been possible without some truly amazing people. A massive shoutout and thank you to the City of Columbia and the Downtown Aquatic Center for hosting and supporting us. Special thanks to Aaron the Trail Builder for keeping our paths dialed in, Alex, and the entire Aquatic Center staff for all their hard work behind the scenes.

While Friday Night Bike Rides are wrapping up for the year, don't pack your gear away too far—we will be back in the saddle and rolling again in early spring!

Thank you all for being part of this awesome community. See you in the spring!

There’s something special about a community that shows up, rides together, and makes the most of every mile.

As the sun set and the temperatures dropped, we were reminded why we love what we do. Getting to celebrate the bike trails at the Columbia Aquatics & Recreation Center alongside the people who make this community so special was the perfect way to spend an evening.

A huge thank you to Vinny with Muletown Bikes for firing up the grill and helping bring everyone together, and to Aaron, our trail builder and maintenance team member, for all the hard work he puts into making these trails a place our community can enjoy.

These trails are more than a place to ride. They’re a place to connect, get outside, and make memories together. We’re grateful for everyone who came out to ride with us. Here’s to many more miles together!

Find your place with us.

As e-bikes become more common, too many riders, parents, and trail users still do not know that different e-bike classes come with different rules.

🚲 Class 1: Pedal-assist only, with motor assistance stopping at 20 mph.
⚡ Class 2: May use a throttle without pedaling, with assistance stopping at 20 mph.
🚴 Class 3: Pedal-assist only, with assistance up to 28 mph—and a functioning speedometer is required.

Class 1 and 2 e-bikes are generally allowed where regular bicycles can ride, but local governments and trail managers can set additional restrictions.

Class 3 e-bikes have stricter rules. They are generally prohibited on shared multi-use paths and greenways unless the route is adjacent to a street/highway or the local authority has specifically allowed them.

For Class 3 riders in Tennessee:
🪖 Helmets are required for all riders and passengers.
🔞 Operators must be at least 16 years old
