Say đđź to Jeanie!
She is our newest member of the Moon Crew! And we love her! Catch her Thursday morning this week đ until thenâ> learn more about her here:
Jeanieâs path as an instructor began at Yoga East Healing Arts Studio, where she completed her foundational 200-hour training. She continued her education there, earning a specialized 300-hour certification in Yoga Therapeutics in 2025.
As an RYT-500 instructor who also holds an MBA, Jeanie enjoys blending an understanding of the bodyâs natural movement with mindful, intentional sequencing. In her classes, you can expect a supportive, down-to-earth space to explore your practice, challenge your body, and quiet your mindâall while keeping things light. Guided by her personal motto, Do Good, Have Fun!, she designs flows that meet you exactly where youâre at, leaving you feeling balanced, refreshed, and ready for whatever adventure comes next.
Jeanie moved to Como in 2025, and she is so excited to find her regular spot on the mat with the Moon Yoga community! When she isnât at the studio, you can usually find her exploring natureâwhether thatâs hiking, biking, kayaking, or planning an off-the-beaten-path travel adventure.
See you soon, Jeanie!

Hi friends! Small change over here!
Up until now weâve had you save a card when you sign up and we then manually close you out when you show up to the studio.
STARTING TODAY when you sign up it might look a little different, you will pay right at sign up!
We hope this makes a smoother experience for you (and the teacher), when you arrive. This shouldnât look much different for memberships or class passes.
Just make sure to let the teacher know that youâre there so they see you and know that youâve made it.
*EQUIPMENT SHARE folks, this will affect you as well! You will be charged if you sign up. So we suggest just showing up a few minutes early without signing up! We can add you to the ES account when you come:)
If you sign up or we mess up- have no fear! đڏđťââď¸
Itâs always easy to apply a refund where needed, just let us know!
Thanks everyone! We hope this transition is smooth and the future is bright and easy đ

We hope that weâre not being too forward in saying that we really missed you yesterday đ
We are back to our normal-ish schedule!
We are officially in our summertime vibe. âď¸ That means that youâll see some subs for your normal classes, with different travel and family things going on for the instructors.
Having a different instructor than we are used to, not seeing our normal class time or even having our favorite place taken in the studio when we get there can sometimes be hard. We understand!
Yoga invites us to practice NON-ATTACHMENT or Aparigraha.
THIS IS OUR SUMMER CHALLENGE FOR YOU!
Imagine a life full with Aparigrahaâ> a life where youâve let go of your attachments to people, objects, and outcomes.
In a world that often glorifies things and possessions, practicing aparigraha can lead to profound personal freedom, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth.
Are you in?
Some easy ways forward:
â˘DeClutter: Donate and discard items that donât serve or bring happiness anymore.
â˘Practice Mindfulness: Using Yoga or Meditation as a tool to recognize when we are attached to thoughts or material things is a pro move!
â˘Cultivate Gratitude: Start a gratitude journal. Write a few things down each night or morning (or both:))
â˘Set Boundaries: This can help unhealthy attachments to people or things from forming in the first place.
â˘Let go of Expectations: This goes for work or personal, free yourself from the outcomes. This will release you from disappointment and frustration.
Sounds easy, right đ¤Ş
See you out there!

Utthan Pristhasana Or Lizard Pose đŚ
This one is deep! Itâs an intermediate yoga hip opener that targets the hip flexors, hamstrings, and quadriceps all while strengthening the legs and core!
We love it for its versatility. We can use it in Vinyasa to build heat and in Yin to target deep connective tissues.
Tips:
Use Props: Place blocks under your forearms if they do not reach the floor.
Keep it Gentle: Keep the back knee down and stay on your palms to make the pose more accessible.
Intensity: To intensify, lift the back knee off the floor and keep the back leg straight.
What do you think about Lizard Pose? đ
