Five years of early mornings and late afternoon practices. 👟 Countless miles. Tough workouts. Race-day nerves. Team victories. Lifelong memories. ⭐️

Today we celebrate our SCHS XC seniors, Carter and Landon, for the dedication, leadership, and heart they have poured into this program. They have helped set the standard for what it means to wear the Wildcat jersey—with perseverance, commitment, and a willingness to lead by example. ♥️🐾♥️

Their legacy is more than times on a stopwatch. It’s the encouragement they gave teammates, the work they put in when no one was watching, and the culture they helped build for those who will follow.

Thank you, Carter and Landon, for representing Shelby County Cross Country with class and determination. We are proud of you and excited to see what God has in store for your future.

Shelby County finished as some of the top runners at the Tiger Classic in Auburn, including two of the top four male finishers.

The hard work, early mornings, and dedication are paying off, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead! This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings.

We are so proud of our guy’s team- ranked #3 in the Alabama Class 4A preseason rankings heading into the 2026 season! This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment our athletes have shown throughout the offseason.

Rankings don’t win races, but they do remind us that the work is being noticed. We’re grateful for the support of our families, coaches, alumni, and community as we continue chasing our goals. ♥️🐾♥️
