The railroad paved and reopened both crossings last evening. However, there appears that some work may be remaining next week.

Don't forget that today is Small Business Saturday! Many of our small businesses are holding special sales today. Stop in and see what they have to offer!

Just checked the data from the weather station at the water plant, strongest wind recorded so far was 46MPH. This was logged at 12:03 this afternoon.

All of our primary roads are clear with the majority of the secondary roads almost complete. Merchants are open and celebrating Christmas in Columbiana with many specials. We hope to see you up town!

Also if you are looking for a bite to eat, consider stopping by the Meals on Wheels luncheon now until 2pm for soup, salad, bake potato, and dessert for a $7 donation to their great organization!

**TRAFFIC ADVISORY** The freezing rain has caused slick driving conditions and most of the roads are icy at this time. Salt crews have been dispatched and are working to clear the ice.
