Clinton Massie HS Bowling Team

Proud…. The feeling of satisfaction as a result of achievement.
To say I’m proud of these young men is an understatement. Each one of these bowlers have put so much time and effort into this sport in such little time in the grand scheme of things.

Going into the season the boys had a goal of getting back to the grandest stage of them all, the state tournament. There are 60 teams in the southwest(Cincinnati and Dayton) district in division 2 and they only take a total of 4 teams. To go back to back is a daunting task.

Last Wednesday the boys finished runner up in the southwest district. Finishing runner up is a big accomplishment in itself. Going into the second portion of the tournament (baker games) the boys were sitting 5th 17 pins off the cut. When the lights turn on, these boys show out. In 6 baker games the boys shot a 1230 ( 205 average). The highest baker set in the tournament.

Friday we will be taking our talents to HP Lanes in Columbus Ohio to compete with the top 16 teams in the state!

Hey everyone please consider coming out to Royal Z Lanes this Sunday Nov 6th at 1PM. All proceeds raised will go to supporting the Clinton Massie and Wilmington bowling teams.

The format will be one youth one adult bowling baker games. We can likely work to partner folks up as well if you don’t have someone to bowl with.

Also if any businesses or individuals would be interested/willing to donate items for raffle, silent auction, or door prizes please free to reach out to Tyler Mitchell or myself. For businesses we can provide a form as well for tax write off on any donations provided.
