Anyone who wants to ruck tomorrow (Sunday April 28th) can get together at Laura Hare preserve at 11am. Cindy and Karen are in at a minimum and probably Ben (maybe Matt). I won't make it and it's too late to get it into the Sandlot app but feel free to show up with your boots and get some work in. Beta on the trail suggests good surface, not muddy and the weather will be perfect.
Stick some weight on your back and gitchusum.

It's that time of year again. We'll be starting to hit the trails from this Sunday September 24th. The route will be Brown County Trail 11 pls the loop from Trail 9 which gives options of 5.5 miles and 8 miles. We recommend you keep your load light or restrict your mileage if this is your first ruck of the season. Look after your feet!
More details on here soon plus on the Sandlot app.

Some of the club took on the South Rim Trails of the Grand Canyon this week. Miles were trekked and rucks were carried. This was a humbling experience.... but one hell of a rucking adventure and a rucking good time.

Sunday looks like perfect weather for a jaunt in the woods but there are likely to be people missing due to Easter stuff. I'll be dragging out no matter what but it'd be helpful to find out who else is interested in case we need to do something special with the vehicles if we do a point to point. Who's up for it?

Looks like Sunday is promising very civilized weather. A walk in the woods carrying something challenging is the order of the day. I'll pull a route together and put it on the Sandlot app (assuming it's working this week). Trails should be dryish so we'll likely be in or close to the state park. Normal times...leave from the gym at 10:30 or meet at the trailhead at 11. All are welcome.

Perfect day to throw on a ruck and knock out a few miles with the Deathproof crew.

We're back to the regular rucking schedule for Sundays this week. There's been a bunch of water falling out of the sky and in the interest of being responsible BCSP trail users we're going to stay out of the park to limit trail damage. That gives us an opportunity to stay clean, with dry (or dryish) feet.
Sunday's ruck (3/26) will be a loop of Grandview Lake. This is a road ruck so you may want to consider how much abrasive wear you want on your nice boots as we use the asphalt to harden our tendons and ligaments. It's a 7.5-mile loop with moderate elevation change (compared to a Brown County trail).
We'll be carpooling from the gym if possible to limit the number of vehicles at the parking spot (Cindy's driveway). Details to follow later today on the Sandlot app. All are welcome.
Come and pick up something heavy and leg it. Spare rucksacks are available if anyone needs one.

There's going to be a 2-week hiatus (Sunday 3/12 & 3/19) as many of the group have prior commitments. Back to it with a 9-12 miler on Sunday March 26th.

Sunday is looking awesome for a weekend ruck. We'll have something exciting for you this weekend. Stay tuned for details and keep an eye open on Sandlot. We'll plan on being at the trailhead at around 11:15 am and the route will be 7 or 8 miles. If you need to borrow gear then give us a shout and we'll help load you up.

Another Sunday ruck in the books. The weather was perfect to put in a few miles. It was good to see some new faces today putting in the work.
