FREE Winter Baseball Skills Camp

🎄Come Celebrate the Holidays with USA Prime Northeast and Support a Great Cause!🎄

USA Prime Northeast is teaming up with LUCY Outreach, a lifeline organization for Camden’s youth, to offer a FREE youth Skills Clinic on December 26 and December 27. All age groups, from all towns and organizations, are welcome. There is no charge for this program.

LUCY, which stands for “Lifting Up Camden’s Youth,” is an organization that ignites potential and fosters positive change in the underserved youth residents of Camden City. Through mentorship, workshops and community engagement, LUCY provide safe spaces for growth, resilience and empowerment. LUCY’s impact is seen in transformed lives, academic achievements and empowered decisions. Together with community support, LUCY breaks cycles of adversity, creating narratives of triumph and hope for Camden’s youth. LUCY Outreach stands as a beacon of lasting positive change, illuminating the boundless potential within each individual it reaches.

According to Larry Yurkonis, USA Prime Northeast’s Director of Baseball Operations, “we have been inspired by the work of LUCY Outreach, we are proud to team up with an organization that shares our mission of inspiring development and growth in a positive environment for the youth and the communities that we serve.” Yurkonis added, “Prime’s mission has been, and continues to be, much like LUCY’s mission, to prepare, mentor and develop young players in a positive environment to help them reach their potential.”

USA Prime Northeast is asking, in lieu of a fee for this program, that participants bring canned goods that Prime can donate to LUCY Outreach to help stock its pantry for the holidays and into the New Year. Additionally, USA Prime Northeast will make a monetary donation to LUCY Outreach for every attendee.
