Hilliard Special Olympics

On Saturday our Bobcats Individual Softball Skills Athletes competed at the Special Olympics Ohio South Central Regional Tournament🥎! The sun ☀️ was shining, the smiles 😊 and competition 💪🏼 were evident, the volunteers were amazing 🤩, and pride was felt amongst everyone 👏🏼! Thank you to all coaches, volunteers, spectators, and Special Olympics Ohio staff for making it happen! Another Thank You to our Hilliard Bobcats families who helped work the concession stand…I cannot thank you enough for making sure everyone had plenty to eat and drink throughout the day!
Way to go everyone! 🙌🏽💙🐾

August 17, 2026… NO flag football 🏈 tonight due to very wet field conditions.

We’re hosting the Special Olympics Ohio South Central Regional Softball Tournament in Hilliard on Saturday, August 29th! 🥎
We’re looking for volunteers (13 & older) to help with the Individual Softball Skills Competition! 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️🙋🏾‍♂️

Location: Hilliard Municipal Softball Fields
Time: 8:15am - approximately 1:00pm
Lunch and a Volunteer T-Shirt as a thank you for your time and commitment!!

Volunteer responsibilities include escorting athletes through 4 stations (hitting, fielding, throwing, & base running), helping with awards, and help running a station!
We can promise you a great day full of fun, smiles, cheers, and encouragement…you will leave with a very full ❤️!!!

Yesterday was one of the highlights of our year! A great time was had by all in some “friendly” 😉 softball competition between the Bobcats, Norwich Township Fire Department, and Hilliard Division of Police!
We cannot thank the Hilliard Citizen's Police/Fire Academy for all the food 🌭🍔🍿and drinks…you all go above and beyond for all of the athletes, families, & fans who come out on this special day! 🥰

Our skills infield league had a great time playing Westerville Special Olympics on Tuesday! Fun game, some good hits, & defensive plays were had by all! 🥎 💙🐾
