This week's yoga pose is Eagle! Eagle pose strengthens the arms, legs, knees, and ankles, and stretches the shoulders and supper back.
To do this pose, start in Mountain Pose and spread your arms out wide. Wrap your left arm under your right arm and squeeze your arms together. Bring your palms together to touch, or as close to touching as you can. Bring your elbows perpendicular to the mat. Begin to sit low into a squat position and bring wrap your left leg around your right. Squeeze your legs together as you sit even lower into the pose. Hold for several breaths, and then repeat on the other side.

This week’s recipe is crockpot hot apple cider!
How-to:
Step 1: Add cinnamon sticks and cloves to a spice bag and place in a crockpot.
Step 2: Add apple juice, water, orange slices, lemon, and honey to the pot. Stir and cover.
Step 3: Cook for 2 hours on low heat. Serve it warm.

This week's yoga pose is Downward Facing Dog! This pose stretches the calves, hamstrings, arms, and glutes, both lengthens and strengthens the entire body.
To do this pose, come into a tabletop position and spread your fingertips wide on your mat. Tuck your toes and lift your knees off the mat. Straighten your legs as much as possible, but keep a slight bend in your knees if needed.

Here's a warm-up yoga sequence to start your week off right!
Start in Child's Pose and walk your hands out to the right side and then over to the left for a side body stretch on both sides.
Make your way into Downward Facing Dog, and then lower down into a Plank.
Come back into Downward Facing Dog, then step your left foot up outside your hands and open your hips. Lower your right knee down and come into a low lunge, then bring your hands together at heart center and twist so your right elbow is hooked on the outside of your left knee. Make your way into a Forward Fold, then slowly come up to Mountain pose. Clasp your hands together overhead and stretch to the right, and then to the left. Hinge from your hips and come back into a Forward Fold, then plant your hands and hop your feet back into Downward Facing Dog. Lower down into Plank pose, then come all the way down onto your belly, and make your way into Baby Cobra. From there, push yourself up into a tabletop position, and then tuck your toes under and push your hips up for Downward Facing Dog. Repeat on the other side.
