Club20 Brokebats Softball

Thank you all for a great season. Including our great sponsors at Oconnors Club20, District West and The Rubi Girls for all their support throughout.

As we wind down it is after much consideration that Brokebats D will not continue in the CLGSA next season. This is at no fault of the CLGSA as they are a great and supportive league. I just need a year to reset as a coach, get affairs in order and learn more as a leader. It has been a taxing year. Please support several of our players as they go on to other teams, including The Bikini Bottoms, led by our own Dewayne Yates.

That said we arent dead yet. I do plan to still hopefully coach several tournaments next year under the Brokebats name. Please keep an eye out for pickup opportunties and continue to root us on as a team. Love you all!

Congrats to our C team on their comeback to win the 3rd place trophy in our Roberts division which is made up of B/C teams.

What a weekend. From an undefeated Saturday to a one run loss to a hard fought battle in the semi final. Club20 Brokebats Softball came, battled and perservered through injuries and last second roster changes to take 3rd place in Knoxville's KTown Klassic out of 25 teams.

This tournaments MVP was Carrie Lawson Loar who locked in at leadoff from game 1 and never let off. Add in the reliable glove in OF and 1000% effort on every play. Congrats!

Brokebats had a great weekend. Unfortunately we ran into a tough Belles (10-6 loss) and PCocks (15-14 loss) to end the tournament. We had a blast, stayed very competitive, and really supported each other the whole way.

Come out this weekend to Columbus Bat-n-Rouge on Sunday to see our coach, Drew Cantor-Wagner and player Stacy Lynn play in drag softball to raise money for local charities!

Brokebats have the weekend off but wish Drew Cantor-Wagner , Andy Reza luck as they travel to Atlanta as part of the Multi City Queerdos

Additionally, best of luck to Stephanie Roque Cheyanna Johnson and Carrie Lawson Loar playing One Nation in Myrtle Beach this weekend!

Buckeye Softball Classic was a general success as the Brokebats D team went 3-3 (each loss by only 1 run) to finish 5th.
