Let’s run it back next year! What do you say?!
Today’s Lemon Trails 5K was one of those race mornings with a story bigger than the miles.
What started as a first grader’s lemonade stand to help sick kids has grown into a community race led by high school senior Ava and her friends, all in support of children and families facing childhood cancer.
That kind of heart is easy to get behind.
Team RUNColumbus was grateful to be part of the morning, showing up to run, walk, support the cause, and celebrate the impact one idea can make when a community gets behind it.
Congratulations to our age group winners: Amy, Billur, Maria, and Munir.
A meaningful mission. A strong community. A sweet reminder that small beginnings can grow into something powerful.
Let’s RUNColumbus TOGETHER.
ONE MONTH TO GO!
On Sunday, August 16, women from across Central Ohio will gather at Genoa Park for She Runs Columbus—a morning built around strength, confidence, movement, and community.
Choose the 5K or 15K run/walk and experience a downtown course designed to welcome everyone—from first-time participants and walkers to seasoned runners and elite competitors. Both distances begin at 8 a.m., with virtual options also available.
Every registration also supports ROX—Ruling Our eXperiences, a national nonprofit helping girls build the confidence and skills to shape their relationships, decisions, experiences, and futures.
Invite a friend and make plans to join us at the starting line.

By request from our running community, we've added a 20 Mile event, perfect for those running an October marathon!
We took a walk—or run—on the wild side this morning at the Run Wild 5K.
The race started with a trip through the , added plenty of bongo beats and safari energy, and finished the only way a summer zoo race should—inside Zoombezi Bay’s Wild Tides wave pool.
Because apparently, a regular finish line was not wild enough.
Some raced.
Some ran for fun.
Some may have been motivated by the promise of a splash at the end.
Either way, it was a great morning to move together, laugh a little, and enjoy one of the most unique race settings on our schedule.
Congratulations to everyone who ran, walked, cheered, and went a little wild with us.

First time on the RUNColumbus schedule, and the Darby Creek Trail Run 5K & 10K made a strong impression.
Team RUNColumbus showed up big for this one, taking on the trails, enjoying a new race experience, and bringing home several age group wins along the way.
In the 10K, age group winners included Jason in 40–49, Patrick and Maria in 50–59, and Fred and Barbara in 70+.
In the 5K, congratulations to age group winners Danielle in 40–49, Shana in 50–59, Karla in 60–69, and Sue in 70+.
A new race. A strong team showing. And another reminder that race mornings are even better when we get to share them.
Congratulations to everyone who ran, walked, cheered, and represented Team RUNColumbus so well.

One mile. Big energy. Fast feet.
Team RUNColumbus had a strong showing at the CRC Mile Dash, led by Joe, who won the Open Division. What a race!
Several teammates also brought home age group wins in the Open Division, including Alli in 20–29, Billur in 40–49, Julie in 50–59, and Noemi in 60–69.
The strong performances continued in the Elite Division, where Brian K. won the Masters Division and Clare won the 50–59 age group.
The mile is short, but there is nothing easy about racing it. Congratulations to everyone who stepped to the line, pushed hard, and represented Team RUNColumbus so well.
Let’s RUNColumbus TOGETHER.
Strength shows up in every color.
The Strength In Colors 5K & Kids Dash brings runners, walkers, families, survivors, supporters, and community partners together for a morning with purpose.
This is more than a 5K. It’s a chance to recognize and support cancer patients and survivors, raise awareness for cancer prevention, and help fund meaningful work right here in Ohio.
Bring the family. Bring your friends. Bring your pup. The Kids Dash starts the morning, the 5K follows, and the Community Zone keeps the energy going with wellness resources, family fun, food trucks, and more.
Every step matters.
Every story matters.
Every color carries strength.
Join us Sunday, July 26, at the Westerville Sports Complex.

Happy July 4th from the Hilltop U.S.A. 5K & Ruck 5K
Team RUNColumbus kicked off the Fourth the best way we know how—with miles, community, and a meaningful morning hosted by our friends at Columbus Westside Running Club.
Runners, walkers, and ruckers came together on the Hilltop to celebrate, remember, and support an event rooted in service and community.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, moved with purpose, and helped make this holiday morning special.
Happy Independence Day from the RUNColumbus Race Series.
