On Memorial Day weekend, the Field of Heroes 5K offered an opportunity to pause, reflect, and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
 
Against a backdrop of American flags, the community shared miles, conversations, and a sense of gratitude that felt especially fitting for the occasion.
 
Race results come and go, but mornings like this remind us that some events are about something bigger than the finish line.
 
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped honor the true meaning of Memorial Day.

At Saturday’s Guernsey Crossroads Marathon & Half Marathon:

Helen — 1st Overall Female, Marathon

Billur — 1st Place, 40–49, Half Marathon

Catherine — 1st Place, 50–59, Half Marathon

Richard — 1st Place, 70+, Half Marathon

Then on Sunday at the Private School Pups 5K:

Patrick — 1st Overall Male

Alli — 1st Overall Female
