SUBMISSIONS ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN!!!!

*auditioning is optional and not required to participate in the workshop*

For the first time ever, WhirlWind is introducing an application-based Winter Workshop + Audition Experience, and we are SO excited to welcome a new room of artists into our world.

December 12–13, join us in Columbus, Ohio for two days of movement, exploration, connection, and TRAINING!

Classes will run from 10 AM–3 PM Saturday + Sunday

This year, we’re introducing an application process to preserve the quality and integrity of the experience, creating an intentional space for pre-professional and professional dancers to challenge themselves, take risks, and GROW.

AND!!! This workshop will also serve as an optional audition opportunity for consideration for WhirlWind’s Season VI Professional Company and 2027–2028 MOVE Training Program.

Auditioning is completely OPTIONAL. You do not have to audition to participate in the workshop! This is simply an opportunity to get in the room, experience our process, and potentially be considered for what’s next as we begin future selection and contract conversations.

As WhirlWind continues to grow, so does our commitment to the quality and integrity of the spaces we create. This year, we are introducing an application process to ensure an intentional, challenging, and inspiring environment for every artist in the room.

This workshop is designed for pre-professional and professional dancers looking to train, explore, connect, and be seen.

AND YES, THERE IS AN AUDITION OPPORTUNITY!

Auditioning is completely OPTIONAL and is NOT required to participate in the workshop.

For dancers interested in taking the next step with WhirlWind, this weekend will also serve as an opportunity to be considered for SEASON VI of our Professional Company or our MOVE Pre-Professional Training Program as we begin the process of evaluating artists for future selection and contract conversations.

Whether you’re coming to audition or simply to invest in yourself as an artist, we want you in the room.

SPACE IS LIMITED.
Applications open OCTOBER 10 (10/10 portal!!!!) and close DECEMBER 7.

Come move with us. Come challenge yourself. Come see what’s possible.
