Whirlwind Dance is inviting expressions of interest for a Board of Directors position with the potential opportunity to serve as our Board President.

We are looking for an individual who brings:

✨ Experience serving on nonprofit boards and/or nonprofit leadership experience
✨ A passion for the arts, dance, and community impact
✨ Strategic thinking and collaborative leadership
✨ Excitement for helping guide the future of a professional dance organization
✨ A desire to support artists, audiences, education, and creative growth

This is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of Whirlwind Dance as we continue expanding artistic programming, community engagement, and organizational sustainability.

MOVE Intensive FAQ is here ✨

We want every dancer and family to feel confident about what they’re signing up for before joining us.

MOVE is a training experience designed for dancers who are ready to grow technically, creatively, and artistically. Dancers will take class, learn choreography, explore movement, and be challenged in a supportive environment with Whirlwind Dance.

We offer two registration options:

Full 5-Day Intensive — $450
Includes all 5 days of work, new headshots/dance shots, and professional video footage.

1 Full Day of Classes — $120
Includes one full day of classes, in-class video footage, and in-class photos.

Whether you’re joining us for the full experience or one day of training, MOVE is a space to build confidence, expand your artistry, and join our community.

The MOVE Program is our professional tuition based training and development program designed for dancers ready to deepen their training, expand their artistic voice, gain performance experience, and immerse themselves in a company environment rooted in creativity, collaboration, growth, and artistic exploration.

MOVE trainees are invited into a season of consistent training, artistic exploration, and professional development, with opportunities to create, perform, understudy, teach, and grow alongside Whirlwind Dance Company.

This pathway is for dancers who value mentorship, artistic identity exploration, leadership development, professional preparation, and longevity in their careers.

If you’re ready to grow with intention, train in community, and step into the next level of your artistry, we would love to meet you.
