What a performance by Anvay Pitkar, captain of ICY Knights – Indiana U15, against ECA Ravens in the AMLCA Elite Jr Championship!

Anvay was simply outstanding with both bat and ball:

🎯 3 wickets for just 14 runs in 3 overs

His brilliant 92 powered ICY Knights to an imposing 257/9, followed by a terrific bowling spell that helped restrict ECA Ravens to 149 all out.

🏆 ICY Knights won by 108 runs!

But the highlight of the day came after the match…

✨ Anvay received his Player of the Match medal from West Indies cricket legend Alvin Kallicharran! ✨

Kallicharran represented the West Indies in Test and ODI cricket and was part of the legendary West Indies team at the inaugural 1975 Cricket World Cup, where the West Indies went on to become the first-ever World Cup champions.

For a young cricketer, having a legend of the game place that medal around your neck is a moment that will be remembered for a lifetime. ❤️🏏

Chasing 199 against YGCA Stormers, Florida, Gargi stood tall and played a fantastic 88 off 87 balls*, smashing 8 boundaries along the way at a strike rate of 101.15! 💥
