All the summer feels for…paper management? 🤔
Summer = simple and that’s also our philosophy when it comes to organizing paper. Most people assume that they need an elaborate filing system with lots of categories to stay organized, but we like to keep it a bit more straightforward.
For this client, a simple flow of Incoming and To Do/To File is an easy fit into everyday life. Decisions are reduced in the moment and pretty file boxes that complement the space give everything a home that’s tucked away, but still accessible.

Eight years of organizing homes and there are a few phrases we seem to repeat on every project.
Which one sounds most familiar? And if you’ve worked with us before, we’re curious - which phrase did you hear the most? 😉

Tiny summer hosting tip that makes a bigger difference than you’d think: create a dedicated drawer for grilling and outdoor dining essentials. ☀️
Grill tools, skewers, corn holders, serving utensils all in one easy grab-and-go zone near the patio or outdoor dining area.
Beautiful and functional will always be our favorite combination!

One of the most underrated forms of luxury?
Knowing exactly where everything is when you need it.
Pool floats, pickleball gear, outdoor cushions - summer comes with a lot of moving pieces!
Thoughtful organization makes it easier to enjoy the season instead of managing the stuff that comes with it. ☀️

One of the things that we hear most often during a move?
“I already feel lighter.”
Not because the moving pieces disappear overnight, but because someone is helping carry the mental load.
If you’re planning a move this year, we’d love to help!

Function or aesthetics: which is more important?
We say, both!
Function is what makes a space work. Aesthetics are what make you want to keep it that way.
This cabinet was reworked to support how this family actually uses it day to day with simple, intuitive zones (snacks, breakfast, cooking) to make everything easy to find and put away.
But just as importantly, it was designed to feel visually streamlined so that opening the door doesn’t feel like one more thing to manage.
If you’re craving more ease in your home, let’s chat about how your spaces could be working better for you!

The goal for organizing any kids’ space is simple: make it easy for them to be independent!
When categories are clear, kids don’t need to ask where things go or wait for an adult to fix it later. That kind of clarity doesn’t just help develop important life skills, it gives parents a little breathing room too!
