Great reports on the new shield-qs blindspot mirrors. This pair was mounted on a Spyder. The customer is going to order a new set of bases so he can mount them higher on the shield.

I agree, higher is better, in most cases. Personally, I prefer the arms angled up, rather than straight out. It gives them more height, better visibility, and brings them a little more out of the airstream. Regardless, they look and are working great.

First customer shots of the newest model, the stem-qs-hd. These mirrors are made for Harley-style short stem mirrors. The atomLink knuckle provides these mirrors with so much adjustment that they can be used inverted with ape-hanger-style bars.

The new shield-mounted Quick-Scans are now available for order and will begin shipping next week.

Just got this news today.

"Just to let you know, we are running your parts. A couple are finished. We had a severe storm late yesterday evening, and we lost power until today at 11:00am. We only have power on one side of the building right now, and are able to run machines on that side. It should be fixed by late afternoon. We lost two shifts last night and just started running first shift an hour ago with on one side of the building.

The constant problems with bad storms are getting to be regular this year. It’s at least one day a week. Crazy weather."

It only take one to two days to ship the parts. We are soooooo close to having the parts for the shield-qs mirrors.

The base videos show the progress of the mold that makes this base unit. The al-small base attaches to the windshield. The holes in the base help align it to and wrap around the shield's edge. The thin section next to the holes allows airLift edging to slip on over the base.

atomLink Caps and Plugs mold rough cut.

This mold produces the fastener caps and the atomLink's body channel plugs. The caps allow the system to locate the aircraft-style locking fasteners and screws to be positioned from either side; the plug is a crucial component that keeps the system compact.

The wait is almost over. The molds for the shield-qs mirrors are on order, and we will soon post the availability date.

The mirror housing is available in chrome, black, or white, and the friction rings are available in red, yellow, blue, or black.
