The event is at the Center for Automotive Research, 930 Kinnear Rd, Columbus, OH 43212. It will begin at 1pm. Food will be provided.

Buckeye Current team captures world records Team overcame numerous challenges on the way to suc

The team survived a thunderstorm while on the start line, a shorted battery charger, a failed 36 kW generator, a failed battery module, and a burnt up motor.

With all of this, the team still came out with four world records (subject to FIM ratification) and one national record at BMST last week. This team doesn’t quit.

The team is pushing for 200 mph next year and is looking for more sponsors to join in on the fun. DM us if you want to be a part of the journey to 200 mph!

The team competed at the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials last week and came back with 4 world records (subject to FIM ratification) and 1 national record.

The team is preparing for this bike to go even faster this school year… more to come 👀

FASTER!!

Buckeye Current participated in Speedweek at the Bonneville Salt Flats last week.

The team set the unfaired special construction electric motorcycle record and increased it by 50mph! The record now stands at 157.397 mph.

With fairings the motorcycle hit a top speed of 184mph.

The team is headed back to Bonneville for the world record event put on by the FIM and AMA.

As the team is heading into the next week, the moto is “Scotty we need more power!!”

Shipping off to Bonneville! Buckeye Current will be competing at Speedweek in the APS-Omega class as well as the A-Omega class starting August 3rd. Stay tuned for race updates!
