You are running out of time to register for the Hickory Hacker Golf Tournament at Champions Golf Course on Friday, May 1! For this tournament, you play with hickory-shafted clubs like they did back in the 1920s!

With a 1 p.m. shotgun start, the cost is $70 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, sleeve of low compression balls and awards. The format will be a four person scramble, but individual flights will also be available.

Hickory clubs are required for registration. Sets (for right hand only) will be available to rent at $25 per set for people who need them. One set is required for every two people. Customers are responsible to pay for any damaged equipment.

You won't want to miss this free event! The Golf Heritage Society will be hosting a golf collectibles show at Champions Golf Course on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is free! The show will include all golf collectibles: photos, books, advertising, equipment, tournament memorabilia and more! There will also be free appraisals of golf items available. Stop by and check out some unique collectibles that you may be interested in! This show will be held the day after the Hickory Hacker Golf Tournament at Champions Golf Course on Friday, May 1.

Do you love golf? Then join our team! By volunteering for 10 hours per week, you can receive free golf at all six of Columbus' golf courses! Volunteers will still need to pay for their cart fee, and they can play for free anytime during the week and after 12 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Golf course attendants:
o Provide exceptional customer service to golfers
o Manage the 1st and 10th tees as starters
o Serve as rangers to monitor cart rules and pace of play
o Stage and clean golf carts
o Pick up and stock driving range balls
o Clean around the clubhouse and on the golf course
