Hearing the devastating news about our forever student, William King is gut-wrenching. He was awesome in every way. Came down from Akron to lose weight and learn Muay Thai. Ended up going to OSU and majoring in physics. He lost over 100 pounds and then started his fight journey. His first win was one of the most exciting moments at our gym. He truly deserved it and was so proud. We all were. He even made the drive from Akron to attend our annual birthday dinners. He is going to be missed and the world lost a good guy yesterday

It is with mixed emotions that Tony and I, after 17 years, are closing Ohio Muay Thai Academy, West Side. As many of you know, between our other commitments and time, something has to give. We have had so many good times, created so many good memories and have made so many good friends. We will miss you all. I only hope we have touched your lives as much as you have touched ours.
Tony and I both want to quote the words of Winnie the Pooh: "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard".

Yesterday was so nice. Sun was out. The big door was open. People in the gym in shorts and t-shirts. Everyone was in such a good mood, we decided to bring out the circle of pain to extend the good mood into today. Who can't move?!!
