Sad but true. We are not opening for the 2025 season. The owner’s back is tired.
We have guided over 10,000 people on the Olentangy and Scioto Rivers during the past decade+.
Thank you for letting us connect you to the wonderful waterways of Ohio and for supporting us with river clean-ups and advocacy for river access! We enjoyed sharing the stories of the rivers and how they shaped our city and its neighborhoods.
Be safe and paddle on!
P.S. The video shows a beaver near our launch last year in downtown Columbus.

A decade ago, I began a career of water stewardship and fun on Columbus’ waterways. We began operations on 2014 in Clintonville and Delaware on the Olentangy before the Main St dam in downtown Columbus was removed in 2015. In 2016 we officially moved to the Scioto and this year marks our first year as operating from the fabulous ! Thanks to all who supported us from the beginning and have made each year better than the last!

Olentangy Paddle Connects You to Central Ohio’s Waterways
Olentangy Paddle was started by a woman that grew up on the banks of the Cuyahoga River in the 1970s. Bringing her passion for rivers to central Ohio, she started Olentangy Paddle in 2014, when the City of Columbus removed the 5th Avenue dam and made it possible to float down the O’! Since then, Olentangy Paddle has provided unique waterway experiences for over 4,000 customers. Come paddle with us and connect to Ohio in a way that just a few years ago, was not possible!
We offer trips on 3 different routes located in Dublin and Columbus. We schedule are routes where the best water is so dragging your boat isn’t an option! Check our schedule at www.olentangypaddle.com. If you don’t see a trip that suits you, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll make it happen.
