I’m up in Colorado on a last-minute trip. My mom recently gave me a photo that her and my dad got on their honeymoon almost 61 years ago in Estes Park. I made it my mission to find the same spot and recreate the picture… I think we found it. 🤍 (slightly different angle for pic)
This morning, I woke up remembering how much my heart hurt a year ago when my dad passed. The truth is, it still hurts. Grief changes, but it never really leaves, but standing in these mountains, walking these trails, and retracing a memory my parents shared has brought me so much comfort.
Today, I miss him deeply, but I also feel incredibly grateful. Grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the love he gave us. 🤍🏔️🙏🏼

I love this blog so much and feel incredibly grateful to for writing it.🤍
Over the last 5+ years, I’ve had the privilege of watching Katie grow not only in physical strength, but in confidence, resilience, clarity, leadership, and the way she carries herself through hard seasons of life. She is one of the smartest, most intentional, and thoughtful people I know, and she is truly exceptional at what she does professionally. ✨
One of my favorite parts of coaching is realizing strength has very little to do with being the loudest person in the room. From my perspective, “quiet strength” is the ability to keep showing up through grief, stress, uncertainty, setbacks, exhaustion, and life transitions… while still treating people with kindness, humility, consistency, and grace.
Quiet strength is steady.
It’s resilient.
It’s dependable.
It doesn’t always draw attention to itself, but it changes people around it. 💚
Katie embodies that beautifully.
I’m thankful for the friendship, the trust, the support she’s given my business, and the reminder that growth in fitness, business, and life usually comes from consistency more than intensity. 💪🏼
Thank you again, Katie. I appreciate you more than you know.

For a long time, I viewed hope as things eventually getting easier or better. But the other day while I was teaching Barbell class, I played one of my favorite Zac Brown remixes. Zac Brown Band always reminds me of my brother Scott because he loved their older music… today would have been his 60th birthday.
As the song played, my mind wandered and I pictured these photos of Scott with my dad, and Scott with my sister Jami. And it hit me, I don’t think hope is necessarily about things getting better in our daily lives. Hope is knowing Scott, Jami & my dad are together with God.
Hope is knowing we’ll all be together again someday.
And in that moment, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace.
The grief is still very real. I miss all of them deeply every single day. But for just a moment, the grief was softened with that peace.
Happy heavenly 60th birthday, Scott 🤍

This moment may look like rest, but it’s actually part of the work. 🤍
I’ve learned that strength isn’t just about how hard you train. It’s also about giving your body the recovery, nourishment, and support it needs to keep showing up. ✨
Losing loved ones & walking through my cancer journey, reminded me just how precious life really is. Tomorrow isn’t promised, & while we don’t get to choose how much time we have, we can choose how we care for ourselves today.🙏🏼
The goal isn’t to run yourself into the ground.
The goal is to build a body that feels strong, capable, energized, and able to fully enjoy life with the people who matter most.💪🏼🤎

💭Working harder isn’t always the answer.
✨Sometimes the answer is learning how to better support your body through strength, nourishment, recovery, and consistency
💪🏼If you’re ready to build strength, improve your energy, and feel your best, send me a message to learn more about personal training and coaching 🤍

The “right time” isn’t coming. There’s no perfect Monday. No ideal starting point. No version of your life where everything lines up before you begin. There’s just today. And what you decide to do with it...

May is ending… and if you’ve been waiting for the “perfect time” to start, this is your reminder that it probably isn’t coming. ⏳💭
Don’t spend June explaining why you didn’t start.
The rest of your year is waiting on a decision. ✨
Not punishment workouts.
Not unrealistic expectations.
Not all-or-nothing thinking.
✨💪🏼 STRENGTH THAT FITS YOUR LIFE. 💪🏼✨
Strength that helps you handle stress better.
Strength that gives you more energy for your family, work, and responsibilities. 🤍
Strength that supports your mental health, confidence, and consistency through busy seasons. 🧠✨
That’s exactly why I created the Stronger Every Rep 8-week program through Strong 4 Body & Mind. 💪🏼🧠 We start Tuesday! 🗓️
My goal is to help women stop starting over and build sustainable strength they can actually maintain through real life.
You do not need to overhaul your entire life overnight.
You just need to decide to begin. 🌱
