HISTORY OF THE GUILD

The first Urban League Guild was established in 1942 by Mrs. In 1968, the council established Regional Guild Conferences.

Mollie Moon to help raise revenue for the National Urban League, presenting considerable funds to the Urban League on an annual basis. Her untiring efforts generated interest throughout the Urban League movement and prompted other affiliates to organize guilds to help raise money in their own local areas.
