Foot positioning is very important when you are pivoting, make sure you have a good head control (chin tucked, eyes on the target) and avoid over rotating your body. Also keep in simple.
Don’t push your punch, throw it. Your power doesn’t come from your arm, but from the coiled spring of your core. Rotate your hips and shoulders as one unit, unleashing that energy directly to your fist. If you try to drag punch from back to front, you are fighting against your own body. A true punch is a sudden, whipping release—like cracking a towel—not a slow, muscular shove.
