Behind every race, every PR, every podium finish, and every breakthrough is a coach who has put in the time to make it happen.

Thank you for the early mornings, late afternoons, meet weekends, tough sets, race strategy, technical feedback, and constant push to make our swimmers better — in and out of the pool.

🌊🏊‍♀️ From the pool to the open water! 🌊

Our Hurricanes had an EPIC weekend of racing! After competing in our own home meet on Saturday, several of our swimmers traded the pool for open water at the Acworth Wavefest Open Water Meet on Sunday—and they absolutely crushed it! 💪🌊

🏆 Sam Ladson took 1st place in the 11–12 Boys 2.5K and earned a spot on the Georgia Open Water Zones Team! 🇺🇸🌊 What an incredible accomplishment!

💥 And talk about tough! Bethanie, Kona, Finn, Marleigh & Isaac all took on the grueling 5K and crossed that finish line! That takes serious strength, endurance and determination. 👏

🥉 Bethanie also brought home 3rd place in her age group in the 5K!

Two days. Two very different challenges. One seriously tough group of Hurricanes. 🌊💙💛

August has been a busy one for the Hurricanes! 🌀🏊‍♂️

We’re officially back in the pool and kicking off the 2026–27 Short Course Season! We’ve loved welcoming so many new swimmers and families to the Hurricane crew—and we’re just getting started.

Last weekend, we traded a little pool time for some Back to the Pool fun! Basketball 🏀, pool 🎱, snacks 🍿 and plenty of questionable land-sport skills 😆 Turns out our swimmers may be better in the water…and we’re totally okay with that.

Great teammates, lots of laughs, hard work in the pool, and even more fun outside of it. This is what being a Hurricane is all about. 🌀💙

📣 Starting TODAY, the Hurricanes are back in the pool for the start of short course season. If you have an interest in exploring competitive swimming, open evaluations are happening today at the Columbus Aquatics Club!

Last weekend at the 2026 Georgia Senior LC State Championships, our Senior State swimmers absolutely showed up, and they did it against a stacked field. Our Hurricanes held their own against elite competition across 4 days of intense competition.

We ended the weekend with a grand total of:
🌀 18 Personal Best Times
🌀 6 Top 20 Finishes
🌀 4 Top 10 Finishes

A huge congratulations to our Senior Hurricanes! Way to represent 🎉
