The Columbus Mavericks are proud to announce the tender of 2006 forward Max Bloomfield. A skilled forward, Bloomfield is known for his skating ability, offensive instincts, and strong compete level.
In 2025–26, Bloomfield competed in the EHL, continuing to develop against high-level competition. His combination of speed, hockey IQ, and playmaking ability allows him to be effective in all three zones while bringing energy and offensive upside to the lineup.
Bloomfield’s tender adds depth and skill to the Mavericks’ forward group heading into the upcoming season. Head Coach Kyle Althen said, “Max is a player with great offensive potential and a strong work ethic. We’re excited to have him join our group and continue his development within our program.”

The Columbus Mavericks are proud to announce the tender of 2007 defenseman Brian Spencer. A right-shot defenseman, Spencer is known for his physical play, defensive awareness, and ability to move the puck effectively from the back end.
In 2025–26, Spencer competed with the South Hills Panthers 18U AAA program, continuing to develop against high-level competition. His combination of strength, mobility, and hockey IQ allows him to be effective in all three zones while bringing stability and toughness to the blue line.
Spencer’s tender adds depth and reliability to the Mavericks’ defensive core heading into the upcoming season. Head Coach Kyle Althen said, “Brian is a dependable defenseman who competes hard and plays a strong two-way game. The Columbus Mavericks are proud to announce the tender of 2007 forward Alexander Chilicki of Chicago, Illinois. A skilled left-shot forward, Chilicki is known for his skating ability, offensive instincts, and compete level.
In 2025–26, Chilicki competed with the Chicago Fury 18U AAA program, continuing to develop against high-level competition. His combination of speed, hockey IQ, and playmaking ability allows him to be effective in all three zones while bringing energy and offensive upside to the lineup.

The Mavericks are proud to announce the acquisition of 2006-born forward Emmet Martin from the Casper Warbirds in a completed trade agreement.
Martin, a native of Pittsburgh, PA brings size, compete level, and offensive upside to the Mavericks lineup as the organization continues building for the upcoming inaugural NCDC season.
“We’re excited to welcome Emmet to the Mavericks organization,” said General Manager Joey Recktenwald. “He’s a player we feel has a lot of potential and brings the kind of work ethic and character we value. We’re looking forward to getting him here and seeing him in green.”

The Columbus Mavericks are proud to announce the NCDC promotion of 2008 defenseman Ethan Zuvela. An electric blueliner, Zuvela is known for his strong skating ability, defensive awareness, and ability to move the puck effectively from the back end.
In 2025–26, Zuvela played Premier for the Columbus Mavericks and was selected to the 2026 all-star game after showcasing his ability in all three zones. His combination of mobility, compete level, and hockey IQ allows him to contribute defensively while supporting the transition game.
Zuvela’s return brings excitement and junior experience to the Mavericks’ defensive core heading into the upcoming season. Head Coach Kyle Althen said, “Ethan is a player who competes hard and continues to improve every day. In 2025–26, Simonetti competed at the AAA level, continuing to develop against high-level competition. His combination of speed, skill, and hockey IQ allows him to be effective in all three zones, creating scoring opportunities while bringing energy and consistency to the lineup.
Simonetti’s tender adds depth and offensive upside to the Mavericks’ forward group heading into the upcoming season. The Columbus Mavericks are proud to announce the tender of 2007 defenseman Jack Devlin. An offensive-minded blueliner, Devlin is known for his puck-moving ability, skating, and vision from the back end.
In 2025–26, Devlin competed at Mount Saint Charles Academy, continuing to develop against top Prep Schools and U18 AAA clubs. His ability to join the rush, create offense from the blue line, and distribute the puck effectively makes him a dynamic presence in all three zones while contributing to the team’s transition game.
Devlin’s tender adds skill and offensive upside to the Mavericks’ defensive core heading into the upcoming season.
