For the first time at Artisan, we’re offering daytime classes where YOU can take class while your dancer takes class too.

Starting the week of September 14, we’re matching up some of our adult and youth daytime offerings so everyone gets a chance to move.

💪 TUESDAYS: SCULPT & STRENGTH + CREATIVE MOVEMENT

Your dancer heads to Creative Movement while you head to Sculpt & Strength, our NEW full-body conditioning class.

Build strength, stability, and endurance with bodyweight exercises, resistance work, and targeted conditioning. No dance experience necessary.

🩰 TUESDAYS: INTERMEDIATE ADULT BALLET + MINI MOVERS

Want to take ballet with a little one in tow?

Sign yourself up for Intermediate Adult Ballet and sign your little one up for Mini Movers. While you take class, they’ll have their own space to dance, move, and play.

🩰 THURSDAYS AT 11:00 AM: ADVANCED BEGINNER ADULT BALLET + MINI MOVERS

We’re offering another Mini Movers option alongside our Thursday morning Advanced Beginner Adult Ballet class.

And there’s even MORE coming to our morning schedule.

We’re also introducing DANCE CARDIO — a high-energy, follow-along class combining easy-to-follow dance combinations with continuous movement for a full-body cardio workout.

No dance experience is necessary for Dance Cardio or Sculpt & Strength, and modifications are always welcome.

Plus, we have daytime youth options including Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, and Level 1 classes.

Your dancer gets their class. You get yours.

This past weekend, our Youth Instructors came together for our annual staff training as we get ready for the 2026–27 Season! 💜

One of our biggest priorities at Artisan is continuing to learn and grow as educators so we can create classrooms where our dancers feel strong, confident, supported, and understood.

We started the day with one of our favorite physical therapists, Erica Borstelman, learning how to build more effective warm-ups that thoughtfully incorporate strengthening, mobility, and effective stretching into our classes.

Next, we welcomed Lauren Morosky from ROX (Ruling Our eXperiences) for an incredible conversation about the role we play in helping young people build confidence, find their voice, and feel empowered—both inside and outside the dance studio.

We finished our day with Jessica Phillips, LPC, and Dr. Parker Huston from Central Ohio Pediatric Behavioral Health, discussing neurodivergence in the classroom and how we can approach different behaviors, needs, and learning styles with greater understanding and empathy.

Dance education is about so much more than teaching steps. Our instructors have the opportunity to help young people become stronger dancers and more confident, compassionate humans.

We are so excited to bring everything we learned into our classrooms this season. Here’s to 2026–27! ✨

🎭 NEW! Musical Theater Jazz
Ages 7–10 | Wednesdays 6:30–7:15 PM

For dancers who love to PERFORM! This class will build the jazz dance fundamentals used in musical theater while putting an extra emphasis on performance, expression, storytelling, and bringing choreography to life.

Can’t decide which style to take? Now you don’t have to!

Our new combo classes give younger dancers the opportunity to explore multiple styles within one class:

🌈 NEW! Creative Movement

Made for our littlest independent movers! Creative Movement gives young dancers a chance to explore music, movement, imagination, and the joy of dancing — without the more structured format of a traditional Pre-Ballet class.

PLUS, we’ve added more daytime options for our youngest dancers!
