Please help us welcome our newest Kiwanian, Ryan Noelte!

Colonel Ryan Wylie, Bill Fortson, Landon Collier, Betsy Fortson, and Erin Noelte. Col Wylie gave an interesting presentation on the Changing Character of Warfare: Al & Robitics Proliferation as well as Maneuverix: the
Columbus Defence Innovation Hub Desian.

Gil McBride, Cathy Williams, and Art Smith. Cathy spoke to the Club about the Georgia Department of Transportation Board’s mission and updates on current and upcoming projects.

Kiwanis is many great things and of those great things, we always have really great speakers! You should come join us and see what it’s like at a Kiwanis meeting!

Sometimes we take our club meetings on a field trip! We had a great time visiting the Columbus Collective Museum and learning about history and passion that brought this place to where it is today!

Wynnton Neighborhood Network serve morning with a few of our Kiwanians!

Kim Jenkins from the Open Door visited our Kiwanis Club and told us all about the work they are doing for this community. Thank you Kim for coming and sharing so we can be informed! We are so grateful to have such an amazing non-profit that serves this area!

Tom Calhoun, Murray Calhoun, Walter Calhoun, and John Calhoun. Walter was our speaker at a recent meeting and gave a great presentation on “Birds in Our
Midst - Spring Migration.”

At a recent meeting we got to hear from the Muscogee County UGA Extension Agent, Erycka Brock Kim pictured with Past President Chance Miller.

We learned all about the many programs they have and ways they serve this community! Visit their website for more infomation. Some upcoming programs they offer include wildlife and forestry management webinar, homesteading skills: cut flower gardening, Gardner training in Albany, GA and so much more!! This past week a few of us, Charlie, Jimmy, David and Erin went to the Pike County Kiwanis Club to have an Interclub at a delicious Pizza Restaurant in Zebulon! This is something that Kiwanis Club’s do to learn from each other, get ideas, get to know each other and be in community with clubs outside of our own! We actually got inspired by an idea they had to partner a local high school and local elementary school to support their literacy efforts! As an added bonus, the Griffjn Club was represented as well, as they were also having an Interclub. The Griffin Club told us about how they plan year round for the Griffin Fair. Thanks for having us, Pike County Kiwanis Club!
