The Kiwanis Club of Columbus was honored to welcome Captain Andre Pereira of The Salvation Army as our guest speaker. Captain Pereira shared the important work of the Center of Hope—a beacon of compassion and support for families throughout the Chattahoochee Valley.

Today, the Kiwanis Club of Columbus welcomed Buck and Betsey Zachry for an inspiring program about Odyssey of the Mind!

They shared how this unique program challenges young people to think creatively, solve problems, work as a team, and transform imaginative ideas into remarkable solutions. Odyssey of the Mind encourages students to look beyond the obvious, build confidence, and discover that there is often more than one way to solve a problem.

Thank you, Buck and Betsey, for sharing your enthusiasm and showing us the exciting things that can happen when young minds are encouraged to imagine, create, and discover!

The Kiwanis Club of Columbus had a rootin’ tootin’ good time at Western Night during the Georgia District Kiwanis Convention! From cowboy hats and sheriff badges to plenty of laughter and Kiwanis fellowship, our Columbus crew was ready for the occasion!

Convention weekends remind us that Kiwanis is about more than service—it’s also about the friendships we make along the way and the fun we have while working together for a common purpose.

What a great weekend of fellowship, learning, laughter, and Kiwanis spirit at the Georgia District Kiwanis Convention! Our Columbus crew had a wonderful time connecting with Kiwanians from across the state, sharing ideas, and celebrating the difference Kiwanis clubs are making in their communities.

And we came home with something extra to celebrate! 🎉 The Kiwanis Club of Columbus received 2nd Place in the Georgia District Difference Makers Social Media Contest! We’re proud that the stories we share about our members, programs, and service are helping spread the Kiwanis message.

A big thank-you to our members who represented Columbus so well—and brought plenty of personality along with them! 🤠
