West Columbus Baseball Club

Every championship game was a nip and tuck contest. The Clippers squeeked by the Galloway Warhawks, 7-6 in the Coach Pitch Division. The Junior Division was a marathon, four hour, nine inning nail biter, that saw the Brookshire Bearcats outlast our Crossroads Bombers by a 17-16 score. In the Senior Division, due to the length of the Junior game, took two days to finish, with our Crossroads Soldiers upsetting the Galloway Warhawks, 10-8. Was a great weekend of baseball, and a fun season, in spite of all the rain.

Going to be a fantastic weekend for playoff and championship baseball on the West Side of Columbus. Bring a lawn chair, and see some great youth baseball action at both Crossroads and Valleyview. Good Luck to all teams.

We have identified the individual responsible for all this rain. He's one sick dude, who thinks this is funny. If you see Dr. Evil, please report his location immediately to Randy. DO NOT APPROACH ON YOUR OWN. HE IS EVIL.

Going to be a beautiful evening for a ball game. Come watch two teams give it all they've got.

Another note......coaches have uniforms, and some will be handed out this evening, or, even tomorrow evening at practices or meetings (if practice rained out).

REMINDER........All 12 packs of soda pop are to be turned in at Photograph night on your way into the session. There will be a collection point at the front of the school. Please turn in form (shown) that was handed out with uniform package to ensure you receive credit for providing your 12 pack. Pepsi or Coke products, only.
