With forecasts calling for wet weather and the potential for strong storms throughout the weekend, officials have made the decision to cancel this weekend’s House of Hook Showdown presented by Elite Excavation at Whynot Motorsports Park.

With the racetrack already heavily saturated from rain earlier in the week, the decision was made with the safety of race teams, fans, and staff as the top priority, along with ensuring a quality racing surface. The event will not be rescheduled.

The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series returns to action Memorial Day weekend with the tour’s first-ever trip to West Virginia, featuring three straight nights of racing beginning May 22 at Elkins Speedway, paying $10,000 to win. The action continues May 23 at Tyler County Speedway with a $12,000-to-win event, before wrapping up May 24 at West Virginia Motor Speedway with a $15,000-to-win finale.

Unfortunately the streak of bad luck continued at North Georgia Speedway with Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series. Broke a motor in practice. Whoever has the voodoo doll enough already. We get it!
We will regroup and get back at it.

Friday World Of Outlaws at East Alabama had a dry sump belt break just throwing us off with the fast pace & short time to get that issue resolved and make changes to the car. Saturday World Of Outlaws at Senoia was getting used to a car that was put on the jig & had an issue straightened out Tuesday.Fridays mechanical problems didn’t allow for feeling things out. Thanks to Steve and Troy Longhorn Chassis for getting us in and out! Now we can get our driver use to a car that is correct and move forward.

Hit up World of Outlaws Late Model Series Great group of competitors on hand for sure! Lady Luck was not on our side once again, but driver & crew refuse to give up! Friday had mechanical failures with chewed up rear end gears. Saturday found a transmission issue. Got that fixed, however Wynonna just wouldn’t get right & we couldn’t pull the weekend together with the run we wanted. We have to thank Parker Brooks Ricky Arnold Caeden Glover for all the hard work & sticking with it through the challenges! The plan was Talladega Short Track with Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series today, but we brought Wynonna home to go completely over her and see if we can make her get right!

Not the opening weekend we had hoped for at Penton with the SAS race. Made the feature. Started deep. Missed a few malaise. Value that our driver races beyond the nose. Had a big one in 1 & 2 was about to be clear of that one as well & got slammed in the rear spinning us into the stopped pack with good bit of damage for a DNF. Unfortunately part of it. Plan is to get the car back together and hit up The Mag In a couple weeks. Big shoutout and thank you to Parker Ricky & Caeden Glover for all the hard work.
