Pheasant, Quail and Chuker hunting in SE Kansas. We are family owned and operated by Rex and Sandy Mercer.
We offer over 850 acres of some of the finest natural habitat along Shawnee Creek. This includes grain fields of corn, milo and sunflowers, natural bird fields and over 10 miles of of filter strips. Running Roosters Hunting Resort is a hunting service located 6 miles east and 1-1/2 miles north of Columbus, Kansas. We are 5 miles from Missouri and 15 miles from Oklahoma.
