A birth plan can be a dangerous tool. I’ll say it louder for the people in the back

🔥 BURN YOUR BIRTH PLAN! 🔥

Information without integration is setting you up for failure. Your “birth plan template” that you poured so much time into isn’t going to save your experience when the hand your dealt in late pregnancy or labor is a dud. How do you pivot when plans change, when what you thought would be respected isn’t and when choices are made that you don’t feel you have any control over?

When you walk into birth you should
be so well versed in HOW to have a positive birth experience that what’s written on a paper won’t matter. Your support team will know, your medical team will support it, and you can integrate the work you’ve done THROUGHOUT your pregnancy to prepare mentally, physically and emotionally.

If you’ve already spent too many hours scrolling birth prep on the socials trying to front load information. If you’ve already taken the 1 hour hospital crash course on birth prep. If you’ve got a plan but have been living like you’re not about to run the race of your life…
Respectfully, we need to talk.

Breathing Birth Prep Group Series is June 5th-7th. If you’re in any trimester, you’re welcome to join. INTEGRATE for your positive birth experience. Registration in bio.

Sometimes the work calls for an appointment visit. The groundwork that we have laid over the last 15+ weeks together has set her up to both advocate for herself but also to communicate with her medical team in collaboration. She’s not walking in idealistic and unprepared she’s IMPLEMENTING. She’s done the work and fully capable of realizing her positive birth experience. I’m just here for the giggles and post-appointment coffee. ✌🏻

Not every first time mom is in her 20s. Thankfully, with changes in lifestyle, culture, and medicine, first time pregnancies are occurring later in life.

If you’re pregnant and constantly being bombarded with negative information about advance maternal age pregnancies, we’re here to remind you that you’re in a very unique position and we’re here to support what you already have available to you: wisdom, patience, experience, and self-awareness.

Here’s How Breathing Birth Works Better
Most childbirth classes focus on information.
Most prenatal fitness classes focus on exercise.
Most online resources focus on inspiration.
Breathing Birth combines:
Education
Understanding what’s happening.

Physical Preparation
Training your body for labor.

Mental Rehearsal
Training your nervous system for labor.

Community
Reducing isolation.

Expert Guidance
Helping you apply information to your unique pregnancy.

The result is not just knowing more.
It’s being able to do more when labor begins.

If you are ready for more out of your first pregnancy, join us for prenatal yoga, birth prep or ask about doula services.

We’re not saying it can’t be done. But women without a plan, actual preparation, and a haphazard, open ended “hope” aren’t likely to achieve the birth experience they’re wanting.

Firefighters don’t run in unequipped, uneducated, or untrained. They practice, prepare, and go in with confidence and competence—not fear.

We’re training and preparing WEEKLY for your positive birth experience. You can join anytime. Tuesdays 5:30 pm and Sundays 2:30 pm in Midtown Columbus.

You don’t have to like tea to join us at The Trimester Tea. TODAY for TTC, pregnant, or early postpartum women. This is a free monthly event where we talk about birthy things and celebrate one another. Don’t walk this motherhood journey alone. We’re here to hold space for you.

Breathing Birth Method is a signature, yoga-based approach to practical birth prep for your mind and body.
The Breathing Birth Method is a holistic birth preparation framework that combines childbirth education, prenatal yoga, breathwork, effective mindset preparation, and communal support to help expecting parents feel calm, informed, and deeply connected as they prepare for labor, birth, and postpartum.
This method goes beyond hospital checklists and baby gear guides. It helps you build the physical stamina, mental resilience, and emotional confidence needed to navigate birth feeling prepared—not pressured.

The Wellness Womb offers three paths to birth prep to realize your positive birth experience:
✔️ Breathing Birth Prenatal Yoga (mama)
✔️ Small Group Breathing Birth Prep (mama+partner)
✔️ Private Breathing Birth Prep (mama+partner+support team)

We have TWO Small group Breathing Birth Prep series coming this Summer:
June 6-8
July 17-19

Secure your spot today. Birth preparation shouldn’t begin when labor starts—it begins now.

First it’s your doula reminding you to walk regularly, stay active during pregnancy, …do prenatal yoga, …squats and lunges for pelvic mobility, lively hip circles, big belly breaths on the birth ball…

Then you blink, and you’re running just to catch up. Enjoy them while they’re inside, they’re much easier to keep quiet. 😮‍💨
