She’s the woman giving herself another fertility medication injection, quietly hoping this might be the month. In the back of her mind thinking she’s waited too long but she wants so desperately to be a mom. She’s learning an entire language of fertility appointments, medications, labs, hormones, timelines, and before she’s even had a positive test.
She’s doing everything she can to ready her body for pregnancy but who is preparing her for the journey once she does?
Where’s the community of women on the same path? Who helps you understand your body beyond the calendar and the test results? Who begins the conversations about nutrition and movement and breath before you’re actually pregnant?
Breathing Beginnings is a place to slow down, learn, move, breathe, ask questions, and connect with other women who understand what it feels like to be in this waiting season. We want to begin building the habits and integrating the work before you’re even there yet. Preparation for motherhood doesn’t have to begin with a positive pregnancy test.
It can begin right here. She might be you.

She’s the woman in the hospital room who looks calm—not because labor is easy, but because she knows how to meet it.
She’s breathing. She’s grounded.
She’s focused. She knows how to move with her contractions instead of fighting against them.
She’s prepared to take the next step, one breath, one movement, one contraction at a time.
This is what we practice in Breathing Birth Prenatal Yoga—not just flexibility or relaxation, but integration of the skills to help you feel connected to your body and confident moving through labor.
Because preparation isn’t about knowing exactly how your birth will go. It’s about knowing how you’ll show up for it.
Do you know her?
She could be you.
Join us Tuesdays 5:30-7:00 at The Womb to integrate the work for your most positive birth experience.

Doulas are not for a *certain* birth, they are for supported birth. And if we’re being honest, we’re not generally a healthy culture. Starting in a body that’s not primed for pregnancy, sets you behind before conception. Plus, birth is complex. You never know how it will play out as you approach labor and delivery. No matter what your plan is, a knowledgeable, experienced support person on your team makes all the difference. Whether you spend time preparing, educating, and integrating throughout pregnancy or in person or virtual support in the birth room, the most positive birth experience comes from what you do before it happens.
