Welcome | Dizzy Dean State Tournament Sponsorship | Lowndes County Recreation Department LCR is thrilled to have the Dizzy Dean 12U Baseball & Softball State Championship back in Columbus for 2026. It is the first time our community has been awarded the tournament in back-to-back years.

Pre-registration for the Tuesday age group tryouts close tonight at 5pm.

All tryouts at the Roger Short Soccer Complex. Check-in at the southside concession stand.

U9-U12 will be 5.30 with check=in starting at 5pm.
U13 and older will be at 7 pm with check-in starting at 6.30
MAKE-UP Session all age groups Thursday 6pm

Walk-ups welcome pre-registration strongly encouraged.
