Become a Founding Dance Patron

Eight dancers. Two nights. One inaugural Buckeye Dance Festival.

There will only ever be one first Buckeye Dance Festival.

For our inaugural year, we’re opening just eight Founding Dance Patron opportunities for dancers who want to support the vision of the festival while experiencing something truly special themselves.

This is more than supporting an event.

You get to become part of the show.

No audition. No competitive title required. These experiences are designed for dancers who want to challenge themselves, work directly with Kimberley Mitchell, and experience what it feels like to step onto the floor alongside some incredible dancers.

Only four Friday opportunities and four Saturday opportunities will be available.

Once they’re filled, they’re filled.

✨ Friday Night Spotlight

$2,500 | Only 4 Available

Friday night gives four Founding Dance Patrons the opportunity to step into the spotlight alongside Division One-level dancers.

Your show-dance experience includes:

* Show-dance choreography by Kimberley Mitchell
* Two private lessons with Kimberley specifically focused on preparing your show number
* Lessons may be completed in person or via Zoom
* A featured Friday-night performance
* The experience of performing alongside Division One-level dancers
* Special reserved seating in the ballroom for our Founding Dance Patron performers
* An exclusive Buckeye Dance Festival swag bag
* Recognition throughout the festival as an Inaugural Founding Dance Patron
* Recognition for helping support the vision and creation of the first Buckeye Dance Festival

Friday is your opportunity to step onto the floor and experience the spotlight.

$5,000 | Only 4 Available

Saturday night takes the experience another step.

Our four Saturday Founding Dance Patrons will become part of a larger showcase featuring Masters-level dancers performing alongside them.

You aren’t simply watching the Saturday-night show.

You’re in it.

Your experience includes:

* Show-dance choreography by Kimberley Mitchell
* Two private lessons with Kimberley specifically focused on preparing your show number
* Lessons may be completed in person or via Zoom
* A featured Saturday-night showcase performance
* Masters-level dancers incorporated into the performance alongside you
* Special reserved seating in the ballroom for our Founding Dance Patron performers
* An exclusive Buckeye Dance Festival swag bag
* Recognition throughout the festival as an Inaugural Founding Dance Patron
* Recognition for helping make the first Buckeye Dance Festival possible

Saturday is more than stepping into the spotlight. It’s experiencing what it feels like to have a show built around you.

Only Eight Opportunities

We are intentionally keeping this small.

4 Friday Night Spotlight Patrons — $2,500 each
4 Saturday Night Showcase Patrons — $5,000 each

These opportunities are first come, first served, and no additional spots will be added once all eight have been claimed.

Each person may purchase one Friday experience and one Saturday experience. You may choose Friday, Saturday, or experience both nights.

Multiple spots on the same night may not be purchased by the same individual.

Who Do You Know Who Would Love This?

Maybe it’s you.

Maybe it’s the dancer who has always dreamed about performing under the lights.

Maybe it’s someone who loves dance and wants to challenge themselves with an experience they wouldn’t normally get.

Or maybe it’s someone who believes in what we’re building and would love to say:

“I helped launch the first Buckeye Dance Festival—and I danced in it.”

The speed. The energy. The athleticism. The musicality. And most importantly—the FUN!

Watching professional dancers take something like polka and absolutely light up the floor is exciting whether you’ve been dancing for years or you’re brand new and just discovering what’s possible.

And we’re bringing that excitement to the Buckeye Dance Festival!

🌟 Friday AND Saturday nights will feature professional competitions and shows—giving everyone a chance to come watch, cheer, get inspired, and experience some incredible dancing up close.

You don’t have to be a competitor to enjoy the competition. Sometimes being in that crowd, feeling the energy and watching the pros do what they do best is half the fun!

Come for the workshops. Stay for the shows. Get inspired by the pros. Then hit the social dance floor yourself!

🤠 A full UCWDC competition featuring Country Western dance
💃 Ballroom, West Coast Swing, Country, Line Dance, Latin and specialty styles throughout the weekend

SOCIAL DANCE IS ABOUT MORE THAN KNOWING THE STEPS — IT’S ABOUT CONNECTION.

And that’s exactly why we’re so excited to have **Miss Megan, Miss Emily, and Brian B ** joining us as instructors at the Buckeye Dance Festival! 🎉

One of the things we love about what they do is their focus on real social dancing — helping people learn how to actually get on the floor, connect with another person, communicate through movement, and HAVE FUN.

Through their online social dance classes and the community they’ve built, they’ve made dancing feel more approachable, more social, and more accessible to people who simply want to DANCE.

That fits perfectly with what we’re creating at Buckeye.

Yes, there will be incredible competition. 🏆
But there will also be workshops, packed social floors, multiple styles of dance, and opportunities for dancers of every level to learn something new and meet people from other dance communities.

TWO STEP IS COMING TO THE BUCKEYE DANCE FESTIVAL!

One of the things we’re most excited about with the Buckeye Dance Festival is creating a place where ALL kinds of dance communities can come together, share a floor, learn from each other, and celebrate what makes each style special.

And Two Step absolutely belongs in the middle of it all!

Two Step is so much more than just a “country dance.” It’s a true partner dance built around movement, connection, musicality, and that incredible feeling of traveling around the floor together.

Whether Two Step is already your home dance, you’ve only tried it a few times, or you’ve never stepped onto a country dance floor before — Buckeye is a place to experience it.

Workshops. Social dancing. Competition. New partners. New communities. And a whole lot of opportunities to DANCE. 🤠

That’s what the Buckeye Dance Festival is about: bringing different dance worlds under one roof and giving everyone the opportunity to experience something new.
