Wahlfield got over 2 inches of rain last night, but it's been super dry. Please give the trails until late afternoon to dry out before you ride, trail run or hike. Remember, if you are leaving tracks, turn back. Don't ride mud. Thanks!๐Ÿ™‚

The Allium Tricoccum, or Ramps, are just starting to bloom so enjoy the show. The trails are in great shape thanks to our Trail Adopters, so get outside, because it summertime!

The summer heat has really set in so we wanted to take a moment to recognize our incredible trail adopters who have been getting after it despite the high temps. Wahlfield is an extremely challenging trail from a maintenance standpoint and it takes a dedicated team to keep it in tip top shape. Itโ€™s a testament to the community that has embraced this trail ever since it was carved out of cornfields and poison ivy. So thank you to our trail adopters for giving up their ride time to make ours even better!

Some great shots though we like the one with the new Birddog trail the best. ๐Ÿ˜

Just another reminder that Adventure Team Grand Rapids Area will be out on the trails at Wahlfield every Tuesday night throughout the summer. Trails are open but expect them to be busy with 100+ of the next generation of riders getting after it. Cheering and good vibes are always encourged!

The rain missed Wahlfield yesterday and the trails are riding Super Nice! And a special thanks to our land manager Kent County Parks for reseeding the area south of the new dog park with North American native wild flowers. Check out the new Bird Dog trail for the best views. Happy summer and trail karma!
