Day 2 - Heat races

This morning the steering shaft bent while unloading the car. The team fixed it just in time for heat races. We were in heat race 2 and started 8th! Managed to miss three wrecks at the beginning and then went to miss a fourth wreck and spun. Luckily I spun and didn’t hit anything and got it back straight and we were able to stay green. That put me at the back but we finished 6th. We’re going to snug the car up a bit and see what we can do in the feature tomorrow! 🏁

Night 1 - Qualifying

Today we came and got the car ready for qualifying and came out P23. Not great but expected with the motor. We’re putting in some work tonight, getting some new shocks on and getting ready for tomorrow. Let’s see what we can do in heat races tomorrow once the track dries up a little bit!

ITS CHARLOTTE WEEK🏁

The team has been working hard all week to finish the car up and get it loaded. We go this afternoon to drop everything off at the track and then tomorrow we hit the dirt!!

Excited to finally get back out there and see what this week has in store ‼️

This is what ended our good night. We could’ve come back from the spin and had a good finish. Me and the 97 saw everyone going up top so we moved down to get out of the way and sadly a back marker car ran straight into me at full speed.
P.S. stinks we got wrecked but at least the 97 didn’t get wrecked by the same guy back to back.

Well.. we went to Du Quoin with high hopes since we had a good finish last year. The car was slightly off in qualifying but qualified P13 and was good enough for the race. Made our way to 6th in the first half and got a little loose but was still able to run around 6-8. Around lap 36, we spun due to holes in the track from the track conditions. Cars around us were able to get around and while I was trying to get turned around, a car that was half a track back ended up hitting us at full speed and junking the car.

We made it out for our first race of the season at Hickory Motor Speedway! We went for practice on Friday and just a few laps in an oil line blew causing the car to catch fire. We loaded the car up and brought it home. We worked on it until 5 AM to make it race ready on Saturday! During practice on Saturday morning, we noticed a problem with the motor from what happened the previous day. Unfortunately we were not able to qualify so we started in the back. We made it just one lap into the race and decided to pull off to not cause any further damage to the motor. This was not how we wanted to start our year off but I’m glad we were able to get a few laps in! Onto the next! 🏁
