The Concord Athletics 12u team wrapped up its spring season this past weekend. It was a tough season overall, but the team got to see some cool places, play against teams from all over the country, and had a blast doing it. Youth baseball is officially over and now a new journey begins as the team will be leaving the Concord Athletics organization and moving over to Carolina Storm Baseball as a 13u team. New updates will be coming out shortly regarding the fall season. We want to thank each and every family that has been apart of this journey thus far. You all made the seasons worth it.

We also want to thank our sponsor Sam's Xpress Car Wash for their support this season. Being able to represent such a wonderful company has been awesome and we hope to be able to continue that relationship in the future.

Once again we thank each and every athlete, parent, sibling, that took this ride with us. We’ll see you down the road.

Day 1 of the USSSA AA World Series Panama City is in the books. The A’s had 5 team members compete in skill competitions throughout the day. Nate Tarasovitch and Jason Laing competed in the accuracy competition and Dylan Harward, Mark Starnes, and Jackson Tolley competed in the Home Run Derby.

Dylan Harward put up a respectable 4 home run first round and that put him in first place where he would be for the next 3 hours. In the last hour 3 other athletes from around the country would tie him and they went to a swing off. At the end of the first swing off, Dylan found himself tied for 2nd with another hitter forcing another swing off. After the second swing off, Dylan was still tied for second, on the third swing off Dylan would eventually finish 3rd out of 80 hitters who participated.

The A’s had a great showing today and they begin pool play tomorrow at 10am CST against TB Bluesox 12u Bradley out of Georgia. Be sure to tune in to the teams GameChanger to follow along and cheer on our boys.

Big thank you to our sponsors Sam's Xpress Car Wash and AB Motorsports and Athletics for their continued support of our program. We hope to make you proud this weekend.
