Mady Savary opened the 2026 New Hampshire Women’s Amateur Championship presented by Vigilant Wealth Management in a big way, firing a personal-best 5-under 67 at Abenaqui Country Club to take a six-shot lead after Round 1.

Fresh off a T5 finish at the World Teen Championship at Pinehurst and a New Hampshire Girls Junior Championship victory earlier this month, Savary is carrying some serious momentum into the final two rounds.

🏆 A breakthrough moment.

After back-to-back runner-up finishes, Mady Savary is the 2026 New Hampshire Women's Amateur Champion presented by Vigilant Wealth Management! 🏆

Savary completed a wire-to-wire victory at Abenaqui Country Club, finishing at 3-under-par to claim her first title by an impressive 12 strokes. Her championship run was highlighted by a career-best opening-round 67 and capped off an incredible summer of golf.

Congratulations also to runner-up June Doerr for a strong performance on her home course, and to Josie LeFebvre, who fired the low round of the day with a 1-under 71 to finish third.

Mady Savary stayed steady in Round 2 of the New Hampshire Women's Amateur Championship presented by Vigilant Wealth Management, carding a 1-under 71 to take an eleven-shot lead into Wednesday's final round at Abenaqui Country Club.

Home course member June Doerr fired a second-round 73, rallying with a 2-under back nine to move into solo second place and keep the pressure on heading into the championship finale.
