I’m super proud of everyone who competed today. I’m happy to report that everyone was able to medal from our team, most of them had big brackets as well so they really had to earn them today. A special shoutout to Mikey since it was his first ever competition. He went 2-1 and got the silver. I know many people who go a long time without tasting victory so it’s awesome he was able to do that on his first go around. I am so proud of each and every one of these guys, they put it a lot of work, not only on themselves, but with/for each other, and that’s what means the most in my opinion. Also, I have to say, the BJJ community around here is just awesome, everyone being so nice and respectful towards each other today, no matter what academy you train under, was just super cool to see.
