The pool is officially OPEN again! 💦☀️

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and cooperation following Tuesday’s bathroom incident.

As a friendly reminder, please make sure young children take regular bathroom breaks while swimming, and all babies who are not fully potty trained must wear plastic swim diapers/swim diaper covers while in the pool. These simple steps help keep the pool clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

🚫 Pool Update 🚫

Unfortunately, the pool remains closed as we continue to recover from Tuesday’s bathroom incident. While we’ve been working diligently to restore the water, the chlorine levels are still at unsafe levels for swimmers. If the levels do not drop soon, we may need to partially drain the pool to help bring the water chemistry back into balance.

We know this closure is frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The health and safety of our members will always be our top priority.

This is also an important reminder of how serious bathroom accidents in the pool can be. Incidents like this require extensive treatment and can result in the pool being closed for several days, affecting everyone who enjoys the facility. We kindly ask all parents to help us prevent future closures by ensuring children take regular bathroom breaks before swimming and throughout their time at the pool.

⛈️POOL UPDATE 🔬

Due to high chlorine levels and summer storms in the area, the pool is closed for today for the safety of our members.

As a reminder, our pool follows standard safety protocols during thunderstorms. At the first audible sound of thunder, everyone must exit the water immediately. The pool remains closed until 30 minutes after the last thunder clap. At any visible lightning or lightning alert within 10 miles of the pool, the pool and deck will remain closed until 30 miles past the last visible lightening or the alert has passed outside the 10 mile radius of the pool. While we know these delays can be frustrating, your safety is always our top priority.

We also want to let everyone know that the chlorine levels have NOT returned to the appropriate range following Tuesday’s bathroom incident in the pool. Thank you for your patience while we complete the required sanitation procedures to ensure the water is safe for everyone.

We are hopeful to reopen on Friday, weather permitting, and look forward to seeing everyone back at the pool.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience, understanding, and consideration as we work to keep our pool safe for all members.

🚨 POOL CLOSURE NOTICE 🚨

Due to a f***l accident in the pool, the pool is closed effective immediately. While we know this is inconvenient, these situations require immediate closure to protect the health and safety of everyone.

We want to remind all parents and guardians that regular, scheduled bathroom breaks are essential, especially for young children.

Some important CDC reminders as Cyclospora cases rise in NC:
* Stay Home if You Have Symptoms: If anyone in your household has experienced stomach cramps or diarrhea, please keep your entire household home until all symptoms have completely subsided for everyone.
* Showering Encouraged Before You Swim: Please ensure everyone rinses off thoroughly before entering the pool. Showers are a critical line of defense because they help remove and prevent the spread of bacteria and parasites before they can get into the shared water.
* Frequent Bathroom Breaks: We strongly encourage parents of younger swimmers to take them on farequent, scheduled bathroom breaks—even if they say they don’t have to go.
* Swim Diaper Requirement: Children who are not completely potty trained must wear a snug-fitting, reusable swim diaper. Please note that disposable diapers do not effectively catch f***l matter and cannot be relied on in our pool.
* Keep Pool Water Out of Mouths: Please talk to your kids and actively discourage them from catching, spraying, or accidentally swallowing pool water while playing.

Chlorine level needs to be raised to a certain level for an extended period, due to this we are unsure when the pool will be ready to reopen. Please check back in on socials for an update in coming days.

This board is reserved exclusively for kids to help protect the longevity of our equipment, keep our members safe, and ensure everyone has a fun and enjoyable experience at the pool.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in respecting this rule so our youngest swimmers can dive with confidence and we can keep the board in great condition all season long.

📢 Pool Lottery Update! 📢

We've heard there's still some confusion about the lottery results and how to claim your spot, so here's a quick reminder:

✅ Everyone who entered the lottery received a reservation opportunity—everyone got at least a spot on the deck!

📱 Your lottery results were sent via text yesterday. If you haven't checked yet, please look for that message.

🔗 To claim your reservation:

1. Click the link in your text message and complete your payment.
2. Then come to the pool between 8:00–9:00 PM tonight to choose your specific spot.

🏖️ Spot selection is first come, first served among those who have completed payment, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection.
