Round 10 and Final Summer Shootout Recap! 🙌🏁

What a way to wrap up the 2026 Summer Shootout season!
We entered the final round just 4 points out of 5th place in the overall championship standings. Jacob qualified 5th, while the driver we were battling for that position started 9th. Our goal was simple: stay clean, stay consistent, and stay ahead.

Unfortunately, the other driver was caught up in a first-lap incident that ended their night early. From that point on, Jacob knew exactly what he had to do. He drove a smart, clean race and brought the car home, securing an incredible Top 5 overall finish in the Summer Shootout standings!

This is a huge accomplishment for Jacob and everyone at Race Driven Performance . As an added bonus this year, the Top 5 overall finishers have earned an invitation to compete in the first Kyle Busch Memorial Race at Bowman Gray—an opportunity we're incredibly excited and honored to have!

The racing season is far from over. We're back in action this weekend at Hickory Motor Speedway, with more road course racing, Bandolero Nationals, and potentially the Road Course Finals in Las Vegas still ahead.

Way overdue Summer Shootout Round 9 recap!

Round 9 was another solid night for Jacob. Although we didn't qualify where we felt we were capable of, Jacob drove a clean, consistent race and brought the car home with a strong 6th-place finish.
The past couple of weeks we've been searching for a little more speed, but we're hopeful we've found what we've been missing heading into the final race of the season.

Tuesday night is Round 10—the Championship Round. While we won't be competing for the championship, there's still plenty on the line. Jacob currently sits 6th in the overall Summer Shootout standings and is just four points out of 5th place, so we'll be giving it everything we've got to finish the season on a high note.

What do we do after a great week racing in the Summer Shootout? Take a break? Nope, we go to a new track to us with the team and have another great night at Anderson Motor Speedway for the Showdown Series race! Racing against the national points leader, and arguably one of the more dominant bandolero drivers in recent history, the race was close green flag to checkered with the top two virtually matching lap times lap after lap. Coming to the white flag a lapped car had Jacob a little lower in turn 4 than he wanted and gave the leader a little bit of breathing room ultimately finishing second. It was a great experience, but now we refocus, and get ready to be back at Charlotte Motor Speedway Monday for round 8 of the Summer Shootout!
