SAVE THE DATE 💛🏓 We’re playing for something bigger.

On Saturday, October 17, Pickle For A Purpose returns for its second year.

Yes, there will be pickleball.
Yes, there will be competition.

And if you know anything about BLK Paddle, you already know there will be plenty of community and fun.

But this day is about so much more.

Pickle For A Purpose was created to help fund the Myra L.A. Taylor Scholarship for HBCU students.

Myra was an educator for more than 30 years. An HBCU graduate. A musician whose gift with the clarinet helped earn her a scholarship to Central State University. And a woman who spent her life serving others.

After she passed in 2020, our family created this scholarship to make sure that part of her story would continue.

And it has.

Since 2023, we've had the privilege of investing in HBCU students who reflect the things that mattered deeply to her - education, musicianship and service.

Over the next few weeks, we're going to introduce you to some of the incredible young people who have received the scholarship and share more about the woman whose legacy started it all.

Then on October 17, we play for who's next.
