Northeast Open Comp Drag Racing Series The Open Comp "style" of drag racing, is an exciting pro tree hybrid version of bracket racing! QUALIFYING / Minimum of 2 qualifying passes must be made!

Open Comp Class Rules & Regulations
GENERAL RULES

ET / Eighth Mile 10.00 MINIMUM DIAL! (You must be faster than 10.00 in order to compete!)

ENGINES / No Limit to engine size or cubic inch limit. TRANSMISSIONS / Any Automatic or Standard Transmissions Allowed

POWER ADDERS / If you have to ask it's probably legal. The dial in will be one half tenth of a second faster than your quickest qualifying

pass. (Example; your fastest qualifying pass is a 11.45. Your dial in will be 11.40 for the event ! (IT DOES NOT CHANGE FOR THE ENTIRE EVENT!) There is NO BREAKOUTS allowed! The standard IHRA/NHRA first or worse policy is in effect during eliminations! COMPETITION NUMBERS Your Competition Number will be assigned by NOC when you register for your membership at the event or after filling out the online membership registration form.(NOC does take into consideration pre existing competition numbers from other race series and sanctioning bodys). TIRES / No Tire restrictions! Slicks, DOT Sticky Tires, and Street tires all are allowed! RACING AIDS & Electronics Rules...
