We're in the thick of Upper Yough week headed into Gauley fest this weekend. We have had a bit of time to squeeze in some extras in the middle of all the custom work. We have a SHD and a Rocker model 2 man ready to ship or deliver today if you need that last minute black rubber in your life for the fall. Some of you may not know, but I've also spent much of the last few decades doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as mental break from life that also helps keep me in shape to go out boating like I'm much younger than I really am. Last night I got promoted to 3rd degree black belt in BJJ, by Don Cunanan and Phil Davis which is yet anothet achievement in a long journey. So what else do you do to stay in shape for boating as you grow up?

It's amazing the change a day can bring. We got most of the top side back to serviceable. Found a couple more small things to armor against future Bamm Bamm Schloss and hopefully we'll have this boat back to him early next week when we'll see you all in Friendsville for Upper Yough Week!

I think Garrett Schloss may be stealing the title of "Human Highlight Machine" given out by Rick Gusic years ago. This time Garrett managed to separate all but one d-ring on his 30 year old Shredder, though I still haven't gotten the story to go with it. A handful of new d-rings and a couple other maintenance patches and we'll have this back to him shortly to see what he can manage to pull off next.

Yet another unofficial Upstream race is in the books. Congratulations to everyone who put the effort in I didn't, I took it as seriously as most years and even got the obligatory "I've never seen you in a kayak" at the put in. More attendance than usual, and my time remains around my average of 20 minutes as I refuse to work harder than I have to to make it through that annual bout of masochism.

Meet your boat builder, Zorb! She may be an awesome Shredder partner when you want one, but she certainly doesn't need anyone to hold her hand on the river. We employ some of the best boaters as they demand the best of their boats and they want you to have the same experience on the water with the finest watercraft they can build. We do our best to only produce boats we would want to paddle and hope we can share tgat tome on the river with you as that's really the best part of the job.

Hot pink accents strike again! This Big Rocker is also pre-set to accept an oar frame by swapping out our soft rope corner d-rings for metal d-rings and adding a wear strip on the top of the main pontoons. As always custom built to your needs right here in Pennsylvania, not set to a single pattern and imported.
